No. The rib is knitted dense rather than stretched thin to save fabric, which is the usual reason light colours fail. Bone and espresso behave the same as black when you bend or sit. If yours ever doesn't, that's a return we cover.
The neck and shoulders are cut wide enough to step out of the top half in one motion, and the knit has full four-way stretch so nothing has to be forced. It takes about as long as a pair of high-waisted jeans.
Take your normal size. If you're between two, take the larger one, since the rib recovers and pulls back to your shape rather than hanging loose. If your torso is longer than average, the larger size is also the safer call.
The rib is a recovery knit, so it returns to shape as it cools rather than holding the last position it was stretched into. Wash cold, hang to dry, and skip the dryer. That's the whole care routine.
